About the team

The Specialist, Integrated Brand Strategy, role sits within the Communications team, a function of the Brand and Marketing organization at Scout Motors.

If you’re a strategic thinker, creative powerhouse, and cross-functional collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment—this is your moment.

This role is specifically designed to help organize and execute against the objectives of the Brand, Communications, and Marketing organizations within Scout Motors. This role will align internal teams and external agencies to ensure consistency and clarity of message across paid, earned, owned, and shared channels – from Tier 1 Media to Experiential support.

What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Support the head of Integrated Brand Strategy with ongoing development of business lines related to Brand Media, Licensing, Partnerships, and Influencer/Talent.
  • Help lead planning across brand and agency partners, developing and implementing optimal timelines, processes & templates.
  • Lead the development of a weekly “newsroom-style” integrated marketing & communications governance meeting
  • Drive alignment with internal stakeholders and agency partners and between brand, communications, and marketing.
  • Partner with the Brand Experience Design team to ensure completion and compliance with the latest brand guidelines and the active use in managed workstreams.
  • Bring strong presentation skills and an eye for design and attention to detail!
  • Demonstrate an understanding of integrated marketing strategies, advertising, and sponsorships, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Support the growth and development of the Scout business through ad hoc brand strategy and business needs.

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role may be based remotely within the United States or at the future Scout Motors corporate location (to be determined). The final location will be further discussed and aligned with the successful candidate. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
  • The responsibilities of this role require occasional attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. 
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
  • Travel: This role requires domestic travel up to 15% of the time. Valid driver’s license required.

  • Education/Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Years of Experience required in type of role: 3-5 years of experience in a marketing or automotive environment, preferably in a strategy or project management role.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience working with Automotive Marketing, Creative Agencies, Licensing Business, Brand Marketing/Management, and Media buying
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products
  • Valid driver's license

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $90,000.00 - $112,500.00

Initial California base salary range = $99,000.00 - $123,750.00
