DIRECTV is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Operations Specialist to support the daily operations of our business and ensure smooth functioning across departments. This role will serve as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, providing administrative and operational support while contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong contract management skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen eye for detail. This position plays an important role in maintaining operational efficiency, managing contracts, and supporting various business initiatives.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Support daily business operations to ensure everything runs smoothly across departments.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing support as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and follow-up.
  • Understand, review for accuracy, draft, and negotiate contract terms with vendors, partners, and clients.
  • Manage multiple contracts simultaneously, tracking deadlines, milestones, and renewal dates.
  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and work to resolve issues as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain budgets for various departments and projects, tracking expenses and providing regular updates.
  • Conduct research and analyze data to provide insights into business performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement new processes that improve efficiency.
  • Assist in the creation and review of operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of business operations, contracts, and important documents.
  • Prepare regular reports on operational activities and contract status for management review.
  • Support special projects as assigned by management, contributing to planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment on operational priorities.
  • Assist with onboarding processes for new vendors and partners.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business operations, contract management, or administrative support.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate and draft contract terms.
  • Strong understanding of contracts and ability to review documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Experience managing multiple contracts and tracking deadlines and milestones.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and address potential risks associated with contracts.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with budget monitoring and financial tracking preferred.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and systems.

DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $72,200 - $131,100

Low (N1): $72,200 - $108,300

Mid (N2): $76,000 - $114,000

High (N3): $83,600 - $125,400

Top (N4): $87,400 - $131,100
