As an Engagement Manager within our Workday Post-Production Team, you’ll be a Spark & Grow Provisioning Manager (Project Manager), you’ll be assigned your own Spark & Grow customers, which is a unique project type we do here at Kainos. You’ll also be a team player who empowers and supports the overall team to learn and succeed. 

 

You’ll be responsible for: 

  • Financial/legal management for each of your customers. This includes but is not limited to; ensuring we are working within their contract(s) and when applicable working to get contract extensions/WAR/CRs/renewals in place, setting up and maintaining Workday to ensure accurate financial data, and creating/sending invoices and working with the customer as required on invoicing issues. Understand the contracts and commercial terms applying to our Spark & Grow projects and ensure that Kainos is not compromised by non-compliance. 

  • Own the governance and reporting requirements for each of your customers, aligning to our processes and Workday methodology whenever possible. Ability to partner with customers in order to meet their requirements. 

  • Partner with Client Directors as necessary, passing along relevant information in a timely manner. Exploit opportunities for adding value to the client and maximizing customer satisfaction, ensuring that expectations are proactively managed, and issues are addressed promptly and appropriately.  

  • Create and maintain meaningful relationships with each of your customers, giving you insight into their business, goals, and needs. Ability to manage escalations and navigate challenges independently. 

  • Establish a relationship with our consultants, learning their strengths and weaknesses, and supporting the in delivering high quality work to our customers. Work with staffing and managers as necessary to ensure each of your customers is staffed with the appropriate consultants; balancing out factors such as margins/bands, consultant skillsets, consultants' communication style, and their competing workloads. 

  • Be a Workday PSA expert, allowing you to accurately and efficiently manage your customers through activities such as; project set-up, staffing, forecasting, invoicing, reporting, etc. Accountable for strong project hygiene, ensuring project financials, forecasts, and other relevant project administrative items are strictly adhered to within the Spark & Grow portfolio of projects. 

  • Understand critical success factors for Spark & Grow such as on time, on budget, and to agreed scope and ensure your Spark & Grow projects have an applicable milestone plan and timeline in place to achieve these success factors.   

  • Comply, and ensure team members comply, with any and all data handling, confidentiality, and nondisclosure policies and agreements and ensure the security of information, at all times.  

  • This role will require additional responsibilities from time to time to ensure that our team and customers are being fully supported. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a major in a related field such as business or technology 

  • Ability to travel as required 

  • 2 years of related professional experience 

  • HR or Financials software implementation or post-production support experience 

 

DESIRABLE: 

  • Workday PM Certification 

  • One end-to-end Workday deployment as either an Engagement Manager or Consultant 

  • Customer side experience working within a Human Resources, Finance, or IT organization 

  • Experience working with contracts, billing/invoices, and utilization/forecasts
