Job Responsibilities• Contribute to key decisions for the design & development of an embedded space payload• Write software in C++ or C for a space application• Collaborate across sites and across disciplines to bring this new capability to life• Efficiently respond to developing requirements
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required:
  • An existing Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • Payload development experience on a satellite program
  • 6+ years of embedded software development experience, preferably with C++
  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Familiarity with the RF and software-defined radios
  • SW Architecture experience
  • Experience creating automated build pipelines such as, gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible, & Atlassian tools
  • Experience with OpenC3's COSMOS (https://openc3.com/)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
