The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for their market families, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, customers and product management.
Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales, Customers, and Product Management to understand demand drivers and new product additions/transitions
  • Understand new product introductions to simulate and develop demand plans ensuring proper alignment with sales team
  • Analyze and understand data to quickly recognize changes in sales trends to drive a proactive response in SRAM's supply chain
  • Prepare and present reports for monthly demand reviews with management
  • Use SAP IBP as the primary forecasting tool including maintenance of Demand Planning master data


Qualifications

  • 3 years' experience in Demand Planning and/or S&OP
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Statistics required
  • Continuous improvement mindset and approach to understanding demand and process
  • Experience in consumer goods industry and inventory management a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Experience working in SAP and advanced skill set with MS Excel is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills
