Verity IT is seeking a Solutions Engineer to act as a technical advisor and product expert, working closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and design tailored solutions. This role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring proposed solutions are viable, scalable, and aligned with client goals.

Key responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:
- Collaborate with sales team to understand client needs and provide technical guidance during discovery and scoping calls.
- Design and present customized solutions that align with client requirements and business objectives.
- Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical workshops.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and other technical documentation requests.
- Serve as liaison between sales, product and engineering teams to ensure smooth handoff and implementation.
- Stay current on industry trends, product updates, and competitive landscape.
- Support post-sales transitions and ensure client satisfaction for smooth onboarding.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field.
- 2-5 years in a technical pre-sale, solutions engineering, or systems engineering role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), networking, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Experience with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
Preferred Certifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- CompTIA Network+/Security
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP
