Solutions Engineer (Post-sales)

Role Overview

  • We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll lead technical discovery, solution design, technical validation and app building for our customers, helping them succeed on Hatch’s AI platform.

  • You’ll work closely with high-value customers to translate complex requirements into clear product configurations and integration approaches, and ensure what we ship actually solves real problems.

  • You’ll be hands-on with POCs and implementation planning, while also feeding structured insights back into our roadmap.

  • This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role at the heart of Hatch’s customer journey. We’re looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, thinks like a founder, and loves partnering with different teams to turn messy customer problems into scalable solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with GTM teams as the technical and product expert throughout the implementation and post go-live operation.

  • Lead technical discovery to understand customer workflows, data structures, integrations, data flows and goals, then translate them into solution designs on Hatch.

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape solution architectures, integrations and features that make our platform easier to adopt and scale

  • Design and build customer integrations using low code tools.

  • Build custom reports and dashboards (e.g., in Sheets, BI tools, or SQL) that surface performance, ROI and opportunities for optimization

What We’re Looking For

  • ~5 years of experience in Technical Account Management, Solutions Consulting, Implementation Engineer or a similar customer-facing technical role

  • Proven success supporting enterprise implementations at a B2B SaaS company

  • Technical and data-savvy, comfortable working with/troubleshooting APIs, data flows, webhooks and product configurations; you use performance data and customer metrics to inform your recommendations

  • Conversant in Javascript and SQL, as well as low code tools like Zapier

  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

  • Growth mindset, curious and coachable

  • Eager to contribute to our knowledge base with new processes, playbooks, integration frameworks and best practices

  • Great communication skills with business and technical audiences

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI, automation, voice technology, CRM or customer engagement platforms

  • Background in CRM, martech, contact center or sales-led SaaS environments

  • Familiarity with implementation workflows and integrations (e.g., CRMs, support tools or data platforms)

Closing

  • There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience.

  • We will consider for employment qualified candidates with arrest and conviction records, consistent with applicable law (including, for example, the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance for roles based in San Francisco, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for roles based in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County, and the California Fair Chance Act for roles based in California).

  • Where required by law, a criminal background check will not be conducted until after a conditional offer of employment is made, and any evaluation of a candidate's criminal background check will be subject to an individualized assessment that takes into account the candidate's specific criminal records and the responsibilities and requirements of the particular role.
