Are you ready to join an exciting health tech startup revolutionizing the healthcare industry? Turquoise is looking for a talented Solutions Engineer with solid technical skills, a deep understanding of payer-provider negotiations, and healthcare contract pricing skills who is passionate about customer interaction, data-driven solutions, sales engineering, analytics, and products that spark joy for users.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be a trusted advisor to payers and providers, guiding them through the intricate world of healthcare pricing data. Your expertise in our price transparency data warehouse will empower customers to drive negotiations and shape patient pricing strategies. You'll have the opportunity to create data-driven solutions, expand product adoption, and actively contribute to our data product roadmap.

Responsibilities

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll…

  • Be the go-to expert, partnering with customers to understand their data and reporting requirements, and effectively translating them to our engineering team

  • Educate customers through various channels such as email, blog posts, and webinars, ensuring they have the knowledge they need to succeed

  • Provide comprehensive analytics support, empowering customers with self-service tools and resources to access data

  • Tackle critical business and infrastructure issues through ad hoc analysis, insightful requests, and data extraction

  • Guide customers in migrating our data to their platforms and tools, adapting to diverse local environments

  • Collaborate closely with the product team, ensuring customer feedback drives our product development

  • Work hand in hand with our data engineering team, designing robust data structures and reliable data pipelines

  • Seek and prioritize technical feedback by engaging with customers

Requirements

What you bring to the Solutions Engineer role:

  • 3+ years of years of experience in healthcare data, such as revenue cycle/claims, patient access, quality data, or interoperability

  • 3+ years of experience working in payer-provider managed care contracting

  • Your analytical, problem-solving, mathematical, and creative thinking skills will be instrumental in driving impactful solutions

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to work well both with internal stakeholders while also having the ability to create strong customer relationships

  • A drive to put out consistent high quality/accurate work at a fast pace

  • Communication and collaboration skills across seniority levels and functions.

  • Your excellent written communication and interpersonal skills will shine as you work with customers to achieve their goals

  • Your expertise in data modeling, large-scale data processing, and Excel will shape our data solutions

  • Your experience with visualization tools (Looker, Tableau) will enhance the customer experience

  • Your analytical and creative thinking will drive impactful solutions across complex business problems
