The Opportunity:
The CIS program supports our intelligence customer deliver IT services to conduct its globally distributed operations. We are driving an exciting technological transformation of customer IT services by leading the design, development, implementation, and operation of cutting-edge solutions. This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.
CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Solution Architect to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency.
The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Infrastructure Services (CIS) contract.
Responsibilities:
Provides future-state engineering for development of cross-functional or large-scale, automated IT solutions and enterprise architectures per program and mission objectives
Designs system architectures to include software, hardware, and communications to support requirements for present and future cross-functional and technical needs
Provides comprehensive definition of all aspects of system lifecycle management from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance and eventual retirement/refresh/replacement
Performs system Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and assessment of risks and lifecycle costs
Aids development of schedules, costs, bills of materials, and other IT lifecycle supporting documentation
Provides engineering service design from engineering to operations transition to execute the deployment, integration and sustainment functions for the system(s)
Provides engineering services in support of operations transition and Transition Plan to support contract
Responsible for preparing and submitting required documentation, reports, and data adhering to schedule, format, and content requirements specified by the contract
Qualifications:
Required:
Must hold a current Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly
Degree in a technology or engineering field - AS/AA and 18+ years of experience, BS/BA and 16+ years of experience, MS/MA and 14+ years of experience, or PhD and 12+ years of experience
Minimum 8 years of experience engineering or developing IT solutions
Minimum 4 years of experience providing engineering or solution development leadership or oversight
Current DoD 8140 – IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
Demonstrated ability to influence others outside of job area regarding complex policies, practices or procedures
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of IC ITE services in transitioning applications to IC Information Technology Environment (ITE)
Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies.
Desired:
ITIL 4 Foundation Certification
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
