We're looking for a Solutions Architect to serve as a technically strong partner at the intersection of engineering, customer success, and enterprise architecture strategy. You'll collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) throughout the post-sales lifecycle from onboarding through expansion, acting as the trusted technical advisor for our enterprise customers. You'll drive adoption, ensure alignment with best practices, and shape how enterprises build secure AI systems with Lakera.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll design AI security architectures, guide customers through complex technical decisions, and ensure they can deploy safe, scalable, and well-governed AI systems.

About Lakera

Lakera is on a mission to secure the era of intelligent computing. We are heading towards a future where AI-powered applications take center stage. Here at Lakera, we're not just dreaming about the future; we're building the security foundation for it. We empower builders, giving them the confidence to navigate this new dynamic landscape and unleash the next phase of innovation.

We work with Fortune 500 companies, startups, and foundation model providers to protect them and their users from adversarial misalignment. We are also the company behind Gandalf, the world’s most popular AI security game. If you're eager to be part of a team that's not just keeping pace but setting the pace, Lakera is the right place for you. Let's shape the future together.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop deep expertise in AI security, AI infrastructure, and modern AI deployment architectures, becoming a trusted technical resource for customers and internal teams.

  • Lead the technical workstream for enterprise accounts, partnering closely with CSMs to guide customers from onboarding through adoption, value realization, and expansion.

  • Advise on AI security best practices and architectural design, including AI gateway patterns, integration approaches, infrastructure tradeoffs, and deployment strategies for both SaaS and self-hosted environments.

  • Gain a thorough understanding of each customer’s architecture and use cases to ensure Lakera integrates seamlessly, securely, and with measurable impact.

  • Own the first line of technical troubleshooting and solutions, collaborating with Engineering and CSMs to drive timely resolution and implement long-term fixes.

  • Help customers adopt emerging AI ecosystem standards and protocols, offering clear guidance as the landscape evolves.

  • Showcase new features and capabilities, enabling customers to get maximum value from the platform.

  • Optimize customer configurations and rollout strategies, ensuring secure, scalable, and safe deployments tailored to each environment.

  • Support expansion opportunities, providing the technical lens that informs customer growth plans and long-term architectural strategy.

  • Serve as a key feedback loop to Product and Engineering, surfacing insights that shape product direction and roadmap priorities.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Background in technical advisory or solutions architecture, with hands-on experience supporting both SaaS and on-premise enterprise customers.

  • Deep interest in the AI security ecosystem, including model governance, deployment architectures, guardrails, policy enforcement, and emerging industry standards.

  • A track record of partnering with customer-facing teams (e.g., CSMs, TAMs, GTM leads) to drive adoption, expansion, and long-term customer value.

  • Strong architectural design and review skills, with the ability to assess customer environments and provide clear, strategic technical recommendations.

  • Expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, especially in mission-critical enterprise settings.

  • Exceptional communication abilities, able to translate highly technical concepts for diverse stakeholders, influence decision-making, and build trust quickly.

  • Experience working with AI-centric platforms or products, particularly in model operations, security, or governance, is a significant plus.
