We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solutions Architect to join our technical pre-sales team. This role involves engaging with potential customers to understand their technical challenges, crafting tailored solutions using our products, and guiding them through a successful onboarding process. You will be the technical expert in sales engagements, bridging the gap between customer needs and our product capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify technical opportunities with prospective customers.
-Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs, pain points, and goals.
-Design and present customized solutions using Unstructured's products and services, demonstrating how they address the client's specific challenges.
-Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) projects.
-Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospects throughout the sales cycle, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding.
-Work closely with the product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product development.
-Create and maintain technical documentation, such as architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and integration guides.
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to position Unstructured.io’s offerings effectively.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in a technical presales, solutions architect, or similar role, ideally within a SaaS or data-focused company.
-Strong knowledge of data ingestion, preprocessing, and analysis technologies, particularly in handling unstructured data.
-Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and relevant data processing frameworks.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-Demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with customers and influence decision-makers.
-Experience navigating relationships within complex enterprise organizational structures and garner strategic alignment between business units.
-Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for designing creative solutions.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
-Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and events.
Preferred Skills:
-Experience with AI/ML technologies, natural language processing, or data science.
-Familiarity with Python and data integration tools.
-Knowledge of RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
-Prior experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
