Position Overview
The Solution Consultant role supports the Solution Consulting team in delivering value-driven customer engagements. This role involves working with account executives to understand customer needs, prepare tailored demos, proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and contribute to the overall sales strategy. As a Solution Consultant, you’ll build technical and consulting expertise in Agiloft’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions and gain experience in collaborating with clients to address business challenges.
This position is ideal for individuals with strong technical and communication skills who have some experience in solution consulting or Pre-Sales roles and are looking to advance in a customer-facing, consultative career path.
Job Responsibilities
- Sales Collaboration: Partner with account executives to understand customer requirements and support the technical qualification of sales opportunities.
- Demo Preparation and Delivery: Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, working towards independence in presenting tailored, value-based demos that meet client-specific needs.
- Sales Documentation: Assist in preparing RFP responses, proposals, and other customer-facing materials, ensuring high quality and relevance.
- Customer Interaction: Engage directly with customers to understand basic to moderately complex functional and technical requirements and assist in resolving queries efficiently.
- Mentorship and Development: Work under the guidance of senior team members, receiving mentorship in best practices, product expertise, and solution consulting strategies.
- Cross-functional Engagement: Collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams to bring customer insights into product development and improve solution offerings.

Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in solution consulting, Pre-Sales engineering, or a customer-facing technical role, preferably within enterprise software, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and technical aptitude, with an understanding of enterprise software and cloud-based solutions.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Desire to learn and develop within the solution consulting and enterprise sales space.
- Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple customer engagements.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 15%) for client engagements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to CLM, CRM, ERP, or other enterprise SaaS software.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, or related fields.
- Demonstrated interest in technology and the CLM industry.
