About the Team
As a member of our diverse and skilled Commercial Solution Consulting team, you will have the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's Financials applications to prospects and customers alike. Our team brings the value of Workday solutions to life, showcasing how the world of work can be transformed through our best-in-class single system-of-record.The Commercial organization focuses on prospects and customers within the SMB space, supporting various industries including Technology & Media, Professional & Business Services, Retail & Hospitality, and other diversified industries. Along with working closely with our sales counterparts, this team sits at the exciting intersection of Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management.
About the Role
In this role, you will leverage your polished presentation abilities, collaborative pre-sales experience, and finance expertise to articulate and differentiate the value of Workday Financials. You will help build and set the strategy for demonstrating Workday solutions to prospective customers in the growing Commercial space.
Responsibilities:
Compelling Demonstrations: Lead the delivery of relevant product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
Sales Partnership: Engage as a key member of the sales team, responsible for creating prescriptive product demonstrations and relevant content.
Deal Execution: Assist in the closure of sales opportunities by resolving questions regarding our solution, product offerings, and services.
Market Growth: Support the creation of go-to-market strategies and lead projects to support the growth of the Commercial market segment.
Technical Support: Assist sales in the response to RFIs and RFPs while supporting all marketing and channel objectives.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 25%.
Presence: Ability to be in-office or prospect-facing 50% of the time.
About You
Basic Qualifications (P3 Solution Consultant):
4+ years of core accounting (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cash Management), as well as industry relevant topics such as revenue management and project accounting.
3+ years of accounting functional, implementation, and/or consulting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and/or equivalent work experience.
Other Qualifications:
Strategic Selling: Outstanding professional discovery and influencing skills to C-Level Executives, specifically selling to the office of the CFO.
Innovation: An innovative thinker who can provide creative solutions and think outside the box to address business challenges.
Product Breadth: Business experience with relevant cloud-based financial management applications. (e.g. Workday, Netsuite, Sage Intacct, Zuora, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Adaptability: Must have the desire and ability to drive success in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and with a team.
Communication: Exceptional and dynamic presentation and communication skills.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
