This is an opportunity to work with Ericsson's cloud platforms - CNIS, NFVI, and OMC - that underpin our network solutions, bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery, driving process improvements, and enabling data-informed decisions across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, prepare, implement, and verify the configuration and integration of Ericsson Cloud Solutions across introduction, upgrade, expansion, functionality, and capacity scenarios.
This position is primarily based in Uganda and is also open to candidates located in Algeria, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Tunisia.
What you will do
• Scope, define, and design solution offerings; support integration of Ericsson Cloud Solutions and optionally 3PP Cloud Solutions.• Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis.• Develop technical presentations and proposals; deliver customer-facing presentations and workshops.• Plan, implement, and verify product configuration, integration, migration, system testing, and acceptance testing.• Support deployment of solutions and post-project activities.• Provide feedback to R&D and contribute to knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing.• Stay current with emerging technologies and share insights to build customer competence.• Identify and drive continuous improvements across delivery processes.• Occasionally support pre-sales activities, including pre-studies.
The skills you bring
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or Information Technology; Master's degree is an advantage.• 7+ years of experience in service delivery in the Telecom industry.• 5+ years in cloud deployment, including 2+ years in a Solution Architect role.• Proven experience in stakeholder management and requirement gathering.• Strong knowledge of OpenStack and Kubernetes (mandatory).• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and core infrastructure concepts including networking, storage, and containerization.• Strong understanding of networking concepts and different storage technologies; familiarity with 3PP hardware (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.).• Experienced in Linux administration and practice.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.• Ability to work under pressure in customer-facing environments.• Willingness to travel up to 30% according to business needs.
