About The Role  

As a Post Sales Solution Architect at IP Fabric, you will work closely with our Customer Success Managers to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise, in order to engage with clients post-sales to understand their requirements and business objectives and facilitate resolution of complex issues where/when appropriate. 

What You'll Do

Customer Engagement & Solution Delivery:

  • Guide customers through their journey with IP Fabric, ensuring successful adoption and ongoing value realization.
  • Understand the limitations of traditional network management approaches and the opportunities in leveraging network data to transform enterprises.
  • Refine and validate use cases and outcomes created by the Pre-Sales team and establish post-sales acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing client support to maximize the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Identify and nurture customer champions to drive long-term engagement.
  • Develop and draft clear and concise Statements of Work (SOWs) that outline project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Manage project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Occasionally travel for company meetings, industry events, and customer visits (once to three times a quarter).

Cross-Functional Coordination  

  • Collaborate with product management, product marketing, and engineering to provide field-facing feedback that influences the product roadmap.
  • Work closely with IP Fabric’s support and sales teams to maximize customer satisfaction and engagement.

Technical Expertise  

  • Deploy and provide basic support for the IP Fabric platform in customer environments, including understanding deployment methods, platform limitations, and administrative access requirements.
  • Assist sales and technology partners in integrating IP Fabric into broader solutions.
  • Scope, design, and oversee the implementation of targeted solutions, extensions, or integrations that enhance the core product offering.
What You'll Need
  • 2+ years of experience in post-sales engagements or professional services for enterprise B2B hardware or software solutions, ideally in the networking space (Network Observability, Network Monitoring, Network Security, Network Automation, etc.).
  • A customer-first perspective with a consultative approach to solution delivery.
  • A background in network engineering or architecture, with a strong understanding of networking technologies and protocols.
  • Experience in professional services functions, including project scoping, SOW creation, and solution implementation.
  • Familiarity with server virtualization technologies.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages and APIs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:  

  • Strong understanding of NetDevOps workflows including automation, infrastructure-as-code, python, git, Ansible, and similar tools. 
  • Ability to code in Python, sufficient to develop custom prototype solutions for customers. 
  • Proven wins as a technical post-sales engineer/architect.
