JOB SUMMARY:
Trace3 Gov’s NORAD Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract (NISSC) II Team provides engineering expertise and IT services in support of various NORAD, NORTHCOM, USSTRATCOM, and US Space Force Command and Control (C2) missions. The NISSC II-covered systems provide timely, accurate, unambiguous, and continuous classified communications and processing capability in operations centers at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado; Offutt AFB, Nebraska; Vandenberg, California; and other worldwide operational locations.
In concert with the prime NISSC II contractor, T3G employees perform enterprise architecture, system engineering, software development, system integration, and system test duties to fulfill NISSC II operations, maintenance, and sustainment requirements.
Experience supporting capability development, delivery, and sustainment of Command and Control (C2) systems within an Agile environment supporting the missile warning, missile defense, and space domain awareness (SDA) domains is highly desired.
The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for verifying that new software code or hardware technical refreshes have been properly deployed into the production environment. Candidate will be responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for products with adherence to internal and external standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Create and execute detailed test plans and procedures using approved requirements, design, testing standards and data input
- Document any deviations from procedure steps during execution to support proper QA and Customer review
- Remain focused upon continuous improvement of the testing process using automation tools, training and quality/peer reviews
- Ability to work in shared, computer lab environments on complex systems
- Work with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are testable and applicable to the release
- Work with development teams to track and resolve design issues discovered during testing phases
- Maintain documentation of test results
- Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions
- Submit test reports at the end of the formal test phase
- Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Software/systems testing and verification
- 3 years of experience in the ITW/AA mission domain experience preferred
- Experience with Agile Development methodologies
- Experience in Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration Environments
- 1 year of experience in the development and use of automated testing of software/systems
- SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret Clearance, TS preferred
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- CERTIFICATIONS: DoD 8570 IAT II or higher – or ability to obtain within 90 days of starting
U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions at Trace3 Gov, due to security clearance requirements for government/federal contracts held by T3G.
