As a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for;
- Creating, maintaining, validating and verifying software requirements specifications
- As a cross-functional engineer, you will take system-level ownership of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that all requirements are thoroughly verified and documented.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Software practices and terminology, enabling them to identify when to raise questions to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
- Requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- Excellent communication, seeking an environment where you can influence the direction of the organization and be a key contributor to the overall success of the business.
Qualifications;
- 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience (preferably in aerospace or defense)
- Experience with requirements, decomposition, mapping software
- Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools - Cameo
- Experience developing interface control documents
- Experience developing and managing requirements specs
- Knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to requirements management, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
