The Opportunity:
The selected candidate will work on a large, classified, multi-contractor team to design, develop and maintain a cloud based system directly supporting the Space Protection mission. As a systems engineer assigned to a capability focused Agile team, you will work on complex requirements to design key capabilities.
Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with stakeholder to elicit system requirements and user needs
  • Collaborate with geographically disperse team of engineers
  • Maintain program and system level documentation
  • Analyze system and conduct root-cause analysis
  • Systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent technical field
  • 5+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering supporting software development
  • Ability to articulate design concepts and technology benefits
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with the Unix operating system

Desired:

  • 7+ years experience in Systems Engineering supporting software development
  • Experience in the Space Protection domain
  • Experience with Confluence and other Atlassian tools
  • Experience with AWS

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
