OUR OPPORTUNITY
The QA Lead Engineer will be responsible for defining and executing the overall quality assurance strategy across multiple products and platforms, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software. This role combines hands-on automation expertise with strong leadership in process improvement, team management, and quality governance. The QA Lead Engineer will partner closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to drive quality initiatives, lead automation adoption, and establish a culture of continuous testing and improvement.
YOU WILL
» Own the end-to-end QA strategy, including test planning, automation, performance, and release validation.
» Design, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and backend systems.
» Lead, mentor, and coach QA engineers—providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and career development support.
» Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are testable, measurable, and aligned with quality objectives.
» Integrate automated testing pipelines within CI/CD processes to enable continuous delivery and reduce regression risks.
» Drive performance, load, and security testing strategies to ensure system reliability and scalability under real-world conditions.
» Evaluate and standardize automation tools, technologies, and best practices across projects.
» Champion data-driven testing approaches and maintain visibility into product quality through KPIs and dashboards.
» Lead defect triage meetings, coordinate release testing, and ensure timely defect resolution and risk reporting.
Requirements
» TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED
» Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
» 6–10 years of experience in software testing, including at least 3 years in a QA Lead or similar leadership role.
» Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
» Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
» Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
» Strong knowledge of API and backend testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
» Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or k6).
» Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (Jira, TestRail).
» Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
