Lead and mentor a blockchain engineering team, oversee MEV bot development, set engineering priorities, and optimize system performance.
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Team Lead to lead our ETH MEV team, in designing and deploying high-performance systems that interact with the Ethereum network.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of blockchain core experts focusing on MEV services/mempool transactions for ETH
- Oversee the development and maintenance of MEV bots, searchers, and relayers interacting with Ethereum
- Set engineering priorities and timelines, ensuring successful delivery of projects from research to production
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize performance
- Provide insight on best practices working with validators and traders in regards to ETH
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support blockchain best solutions
- Work on special data analysis projects, as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in managing an Engineering team
- At least 5 years of experience with designing, building, testing and implementing highly scalable and distributed backend systems
- 3+ years experience in Blockchain
- 2+ years experience in Blockchain MEV
- Experience with ETH or BSC MEV, including mev-boost and PBS
- Expertise using Go language
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Creative, independent, can do attitude, take ownership of overall responsibilities and a great team playerAbility to read, modify blockchain core code (geth, bor, prysm, ...)
