Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in San Francisco, CA:
 

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Design, develop and maintain a highly scalable, multi-tenant enterprise access control system which provides record level access for all user customizations. Develop backend application at scale for Access Control domain part of the Metadata Platform org. Handle large data sets that includes 100s of millions of users and billions of records in the Hyper force (AWS) environment. Understand modern object-oriented programming techniques, design patterns, and CS fundamentals and use them in a production coding environment. Write unit, functional and integration tests and be accountable for shipping features with top quality code. Conduct performance testing and fine-tuning of production code. Read, understand and author high performant PL/SQL queries to optimize and scale access control systems in a multi-tenant environment. Master the Agile Methodology and commit to continuous improvement of processes and best practices to improve team performance. Manage on-call production support via PagerDuty and resolve customer issues based on priority thereby upholding Customer Trust on Salesforce. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 
 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).
 

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Amazon Web Services (AWS); (2) PL/SQL Queries; (3) Agile Methodologies; (4) SQL; (5) Software Development Life Cycle; (6) SOAP and REST APIs; (7) Software Quality/Testing; (8) Database Management Systems; (9) Integration and ETL technologies; (10) Machine Learning; (11) Object-oriented programming (Java or Python). Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. 
 

Salary: $206,315.00 - $249,000.00 per annum.
