- Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code under guidance from senior engineers.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Assist with debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver features.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.
- Follow established development standards, processes, and best practices.
- Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to the role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic understanding of one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with fundamental software development concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Internship, co-op, or project experience in software development.
- Exposure to web, mobile, or cloud-based application development.
- Familiarity with agile or scrum development methodologies.
- Willingness to learn and accept feedback.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks with support.
- Primarily computer-based work.
- May require participation in on-call rotations or occasional off-hours support depending on team needs.
