As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll help shape the technical direction of our platform and bring to life features that are as scalable as they are intuitive. We’re tackling complex backend challenges, building APIs that serve both performance and elegance, and crafting systems that empower global teams to stay in control of their gear.
This position is fully remote and offers the flexibility to work from wherever you do your best work. For collaboration purposes, we’re primarily targeting candidates located in the United States, Canada, or other regions within similar time zones.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate & Innovate – Work alongside developers, product managers, and designers to build and maintain reliable systems using Python and React TypeScript.

  • Lead & Deliver – Take ownership of feature development. Break down complex challenges and deliver quality code across multiple services and APIs.

  • Ensure Quality – Write modular, well-tested code. You’ll contribute to integration, load, and UAT testing to help us ship confidently.

  • Support & Optimize – Identify and resolve backend issues to keep performance high and downtime low.

  • Communicate & Coordinate – Lead stand-ups, advocate for engineering best practices, and work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams.

  • Architect & Guide – Shape our backend architecture and design scalable, secure systems that enable long-term growth. Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge generously.

  • Enhance & Develop – Help evolve existing features and develop new functionality that improves how our customers manage equipment.

  • Document & Share – Keep your team in the loop with clear technical documentation and progress updates.

  • Agile & Autonomous – Own your work. Adapt plans with agility and focus, always moving toward meaningful outcomes.

Basic Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience with Python API development

  • 2+ years of experience with MongoDB

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Strong backend architecture, system design, and API building skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical teams

  • Solid understanding of modern software design principles

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing APIs using the API Repository Pattern

  • Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure

  • 1+ years of experience with React TypeScript (bonus points for full-stack thinking)
