Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer excited to contribute to a collaborative and mission-driven team. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in the Boston, MA area, as the team connects in person regularly. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional who is eager to dive into our existing codebase while also having the expertise to structure and develop new code from scratch.
Duties:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions in the healthcare space.
- Dive into and navigate existing codebases with ease, making necessary improvements and optimizations.
- Architect and build new software components from the ground up, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and learning-driven environment.

Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development with a focus on frontend web applications.
- Proficiency in TypeScript (Vue.js or Angular is a plus), and/or C# .NET.
- Strong understanding of web development technologies.
- Proven experience in both diving into existing code bases and building software from scratch.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Nice to have: Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare-related projects.
- Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
