Role Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer in our team, you'll play a key role in designing our Security Posture Management related suite of products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing efficient systems to detect security insights for our customers.
- Enhancing our highly distributed and scalable event based systems.
- Solve scaling bottlenecks in critical services in our existing processes.
- Research and introduce cutting-edge technologies and algorithms.
- This role may require flexibility to be on-call outside of standard working hours to address technical issues as needed.
Must-Have Skills
We're looking for an experienced engineer with:
- Proficiency in Golang (or eagerness to learn)
- Experience in designing high-scale distributed systems.
- Experience managing and deploying onto production Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms.
- A security-focused mindset, required for a cross-functional product like Security Posture Management.
- A natural sense of curiosity and a can-do attitude.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, Python, Go, and Unix systems will be highly regarded.
- You do not need to have experience with any of these technologies!
- The ability to break down complex problems into smaller pieces, provide options, talk through trade-offs and drive the effort to solve the problem
