Job Description
As a part of our Advanced Technology and Prototyping team within the Air and Space Force Solutions Business Area, you'll join a diverse group of driven professionals who research and design edge capabilities that address some of the hardest problems within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC). We are looking for a radar subject matter expert to add their skills to our team where you'll be able to make an impact while you hone your skills and grow in your career.
Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Job Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a software development team to design and implement Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), sensor exploitation, tracking, and Command and Control (C2) software
  • Design and develop robust and efficient C++ radar sensor planning and resource management software
  • Take ownership of a radar sensor resource management codebase from requirements, design, implementation, maintenance, analysis, and test
  • Lead 2-5 person multi-disciplinary teams of scientists and engineers across different groups, divisions, and locations
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task, readily adapt to change, and respond to quick turn-around requests
  • Support customer meetings, demonstrations, or other externally facing activities

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or science field with 6+ years of relevant professional experience OR an advanced degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience
  • Capable of leading teams of software and system engineers including managing scope and schedule
  • Experienced developer with strong coding, debugging, design and problem-solving skills
  • Significant experience with sensor planning, sensor resource management, or mission planning
  • Deep knowledge of C++
  • Experience using collaborative source code management, Agile Development, and DevSecOps
  • Experience with Windows and Linux Development Environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and nontechnical teammates

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Active Secret Clearance, able to get TS/SCI Clearance
  • Domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    • Cloud native technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Harbor, Helm
    • Real-time or time critical processing pipelines
    • Space, air, and/or ground systems
    • Modeling & simulation (M&S)
    • Tracking methodologies
    • Command and control (C2)
    • Data analysis and performance evaluation
    • UI/UX design and development including GIS

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
