This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a Software Engineer supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field and 5 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience; or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Applicants must have a current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start.
- Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with Active DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Command and control system application development
- Previous experience with message translation software
- Automated testing and pipeline development experience
- Experience with software integration testing, including developing automated test scripts
- Prior experience designing and developing microservices and deploying them with containers
- Experience setting up a container environment
- Understanding of systems engineering, systems design, and development
- Ability to clearly document activities, write project plans, and prepare summary reports
- Strong knowledge of software practices and coding standards
- Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms
- Familiarity with Java Spring
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of backend development and message passing
- Experience developing enterprise applications
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
The proposed salary range for this position is $112,000 - $129,000. Salaries are commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications within the experience bandwidth, as well as market and business considerations.
