We’re searching for a US-based Software Engineer III – Front End to join our Data Solutions Group (DSG) team, so that we can deliver intuitive, scalable user experiences that empower healthcare organizations with actionable data insights. The Software Engineer III – Front End will design and build modern, high-quality front-end applications while solving complex technical challenges and collaborating across teams to support our mission of improving patient safety and operational decision-making through technology.
How You’ll Spend Your Time
- Develop scalable, maintainable front-end applications using TypeScript and React to deliver high-quality user experiences and functionality
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in order to translate requirements into effective, user-centric solutions
- Diagnose complex software and performance issues to ensure system reliability, responsiveness, and security
- Implement testing strategies, including unit and UI tests in order to maintain code quality and ensure consistent application behavior
- Adapt technical designs and implementation approaches to navigate evolving requirements and deliver solutions in ambiguous environments
What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having
- 8+ years of experience in front-end software engineering, with strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with a variety of modern React state management libraries, specifically the Flux model and associated libraries
- Experience working with modern React tooling and libraries like Webpack and Vite
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills – you can work well alongside designers, engineers and product owners
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a large codebase – you know when to refactor and understand the cost of refactoring
- Demonstrated ability to navidate ambiguous technical requirements and evolving project scopes, adapting solution approaches and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes
