Summary:
The Software Engineer II is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, modifying writing, editing and implementing software programming applications.
Essential Job Functions:
- Translate algorithms into code and develop solutions leveraging machine learning concepts
- Continuously gather user feedback to develop, test, deploy, and iterate on code
- Ensure front-end development is supported by robust back-end infrastructure, including databases, servers, and applications
- Integrate APIs, conduct code reviews, and maintain documentation throughout the development lifecycle
- Convert design layouts and wireframes into functional front-end components through development, debugging, and optimization
- Ensure application interfaces are user-friendly, accessible, and perform consistently across browsers
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and web design teams to resolve performance and integration issues
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· Primary Skills:
- React, React Native, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS
· Technical Expertise:
- Deep expertise in React with hands-on experience in building scalable applications
- Practical experience in developing React Native applications
- Strong understanding and implementation experience of state-based design patterns
- Experience in building, publishing, and consuming NPM modules
- Proficient in HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and related web technologies
- Familiarity with Node.js
- Experience in building backend application using Spring/Spring Boot
- AWS skills in configuring and deploying scalable frontend and backend applications.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in Java and Spring Boot, specifically in building enterprise applications.
Proficiency in Java 11 and 17.
Expertise in Drools Engine and related technologies.
Experience in DMN models at Conformance level 3.
Knowledge of containerizing applications with Docker.
Strong experience in server management and tuning, particularly with Wildfly and Tomcat.
Experience with MongoDB and Spring Data MongoDB library.
Proven track record in implementing microservices architecture and BPM integration.
Required: In-depth knowledge of jBPM.
Experience as a full-stack engineer in AWS cloud environments.
Proven ability to deploy and manage applications on AWS.
Experience in optimizing business rules and automated testing.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
