Taking on projects of moderate to complex scope, you'll work with growing autonomy, collaborating with product stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their needs. You'll drive end-to-end development, improve coding best practices, and evaluate new technologies, while also mentoring junior engineers through pairing, design reviews, and code reviews. Your strong communication skills and technical insight will make you a valuable partner across cross-functional teams.

Salary Range
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $107,000 - $139,000 plus benefits as described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate's qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.
US team members (and their spouses, domestic partners, and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance which includes company contributions to a Health Savings Accounts. Team members are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, team members can enroll in the company's 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. You receive 15 days of paid vacation yearly, increasing to 20 days after one year. Additionally, you get 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 20 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents, 12 weeks for others. Also, there's an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for qualifying expenses.

What You'll Do
- Understand and make well-reasoned design decisions and trade-offs in your area of expertise
- Persistently work to address roadblocks, pulling in others as necessary with minimal direction or oversight
- Implement and support technical solutions to deliver business requirements
- Take end-to-end responsibility for projects of increasing complexity, contributing to common code
- Partner with product and other stakeholders, driving requirements that consider all parties' needs
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with teams like Product, Design, and Marketing as necessary
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve services
- Contribute ideas to coding best practices and new technologies
- Act as a technical resource for internal and external clients, drawing on your relationship and technical skills
- Communicate technical decisions through design documents, tech talks, and documentation
- Mentor junior engineers through pairing, design review, and code review
- Contribute frequently to development meetings
- Consider the effects of technical solutions on non-functional requirements (NFRs)
- High-level understanding of the overall architecture, allowing you to provide feedback on projects outside your core area

Who You Are / What You Bring

- 2+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

- Ownership of the technical testing and performance plan for your projects

- Ability to balance technical, analytical, and product needs, leading to solutions that account for all these requirements
- Identification and proposal of strategies around technical problems affecting your team, communication of standards, and getting buy-in on solutions
