About your role:
The SDET will work with cross-functional teams to scale testing capabilities through the implementation of automation and leveraging non-test resources (i.e., BA’s, Developers, Architects, Integrators, Partners, and Support).  The successful candidate will possess strong Software Development, Technical, Leadership, Communication, and Troubleshooting skills.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

What you'll do:

• Execution of detailed quality assurance testing for complex software products.

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.

• Identify, report, and track software defects to resolution.

• Collaborate with development and product teams to improve quality practices.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.

• Delivers quality Software Components by developing robust Regression Tests
• Minimizes Regression issues through System Level (End-to-End) Tests

Experience you'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in technical field (Engineering and/or Computer Science) or equivalent experience
• 3+ years hands-on software and/or test development experience
• 3+ years Fintech banking experience (loan servicing, deposit operations, card processing, and/or interface development)
• Experience with the following specifications/languages/frameworks: Java, AI, JavaScript, JSON, RESTful API’s, and Postman
• General experience with the following applications is a plus:  Swagger, JMeter, GitLab, PostgreSQL, pgAdmin, Datadog, AWS, Jira, Confluence

Experience that would be great to have:

• Passion for technology/strong technical analysis skills
• Developing and/or testing SaaS Applications
• HTTP API Routing Frameworks/Webservices                 

• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools

• Excellent Debugging and Troubleshooting skills.
• Monitoring Code Coverage

• Understanding of software development lifecycles

• Certification in software testing methodologies
