Responsible for analyzing, developing, documenting, and maintaining software assets, which include desktop applications, web applications,

and datastores. Analyze, document, maintain, and develop software development and information-technology strategies. Develop, create,

and modify applications software and specialized utility programs to address client requirements. Analyze user needs and develop software

solutions. Design and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop web applications using ASP.Net with separation of business data and presentation layer using MVC framework.
  • Conduct UI (user interface) development using HTML5, layout design using CSS and Bootstrap, and client-side response/validation using Angular, DevExpress, JavaScript, JSON, and/or jQuery.
  • Design SQL database with table constraints, triggers, stored procedures, and data archival and implement table partitioning and indexing for better performance.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing prototype, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code
  • Use Agile development methodology to develop a next-generation framework to manage the software development process.
    • Create unit tests for critical code for unit testing.
  • Convert the company’s existing server-based platform to the web in order to address the evolving requirements of the customer using web development.
  • Test and evaluate new software features to ensure a high degree of quality.
  • Develop technical documentation to define the system components, development environment, and implementation planning/strategies.
  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Troubleshoot code problems and develop solutions to enhance application performance and usability.
  • Perform root cause analysis of the solution which will be used to apply the permanent fix for the respective problem.
  • Ability to work remotely

Skills & Competencies:

  • Extensive knowledge of C# programming language.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methods
  • Knowledge of .NET Framework
  • Knowledge of Angular framework
  • Knowledge of ASP.Net, MVC, and Entity Framework.
  • Experience working in Visual Studio and Jira
  • Knowledge of SQL database (T-SQL) and Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Web design and web scripting, and secure Web API Calls utilizing JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, jQuery, JSON, and Bootstrap.
  • Ability to design reports.
  • Knowledge of Git Version Control.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Azure, and Windows operating experience.
