Software Developer in Test, AI Productivity - Seattle

Why We Have This Role


We are looking for an Internal Tools Engineer (L4) to build productivity solutions that enhance efficiency across all our teams including Engineering, Product Management, and UX. As our organization continues to grow, we need specialized expertise to create tools that streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and boost productivity company-wide. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining internal tooling that helps Qualtrics teams work more effectively. This role is critical for standardizing productivity practices across the organization and empowering our teams to focus on delivering exceptional value to customers.

  • Develop internal tooling that enhances productivity for Engineering, PM, and UX teams
  • Build automation solutions that streamline workflows and reduce manual effort

  • Establish standards for internal tools that ensure usability, accessibility, and adoption

  • Design and develop internal tools that enhance productivity across roles and departments
  • Create automation solutions for common tasks across Engineering, PM, and UX workflows
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools to track project metrics and team performance
  • Implement utilities that simplify complex workflows and reduce context switching
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their productivity needs and pain points
  • Maintain and enhance existing internal tooling
  • Document best practices and provide training on tool usage
  • Gather feedback and iterate on tools to improve usability and functionality
  • Integrate with existing systems to create seamless workflows

What We're Looking For On Your Resume

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development or tools engineering
  • Experience building user-facing applications with modern web technologies
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Familiarity with workflow management systems and productivity tools
  • Understanding of UX principles for creating intuitive interfaces
  • Experience gathering requirements from diverse stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.
