We are seeking an Expert Software Developer to automation, design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise software applications in a Microsoft Windows environment.
The team primarily develops in C# and .NET. Candidates with strong experience in Java or another object-oriented programming language are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate should be able to become productive in C# within the first several months. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continued functionality, security, and efficiency of the DUD program, which provides an automated method for patching and compliance verification of stand-alone systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and automate the DUD platform, delivering an efficient and reliable mechanism for standalone systems, ensuring critical patches, release pipeline and verification process, integrating the latest Enterprise Support OS builds and security definitions while providing robust compliance checks for service providers.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications and services.
  • Develop readable, maintainable, and secure software.
  • Troubleshoot application defects and production issues.
  • Review code and contribute to technical design decisions.
  • Work with customers and team members to clarify requirements.
  • Maintain technical documentation.
  • Participate in planning, code reviews, testing, and software releases.
  • Support and improve existing applications, including legacy systems.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Minimum 11+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong proficiency in an object-oriented programming language such as C#, Java, Kotlin, or C++.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and common software design patterns.
  • Experience developing and supporting business or enterprise applications.
  • Experience with source control, code reviews, testing, debugging, and the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience working with relational databases, web services, or application integrations.
  • Ability to learn new programming languages, frameworks, and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with C# and .NET.
  • Experience with PowerShell or another scripting language.
  • Experience developing web APIs, Windows services, desktop applications, or web applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and IIS environments.
  • Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Experience working with AWS and Azure
  • Experience using GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, and Confluence
  • Familiarity with secure software development practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methods.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and AI-enabled application capabilities, including the secure use and validation of generated code and content.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
