- Perform comprehensive database administration and architect duties across Software AG environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure database solutions.
- Develop and support Natural applications through performance tuning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to integrate database solutions into enterprise systems.
- Establish and maintain database standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Monitor system performance and proactive implement improvements.
- Support compliance with federal security, data integrity, and availability requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline).
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience working with Software AG technologies.
- Proficiency and expertise demonstrated with:
- ADABAS – database administration, design, and optimization
- Natural – programming, maintenance, and integration
- Strong background in database architecture, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working on cross-functional teams.
- U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DoI Suitability.
- Experience supporting federal agencies or large-scale government IT programs.
- Familiarity with modernization efforts and integration with newer platforms and services.
- Knowledge of federal security and compliance frameworks (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
