Position Purpose: Collaborates & assists on the implementation and maintenance of the Corporation's social media strategy, including online platform management and administration. This role works closely with the social media managers to manage the planning and implementation of the daily, weekly, and monthly social media components that contribute to the overall communications department mission while maintaining a positive image for the company and subsidiaries.

  • Manages enterprise social media operations, including intake, content publishing, channel maintenance, asset management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure efficient execution across platforms and stakeholders.
  • Assists with the establishment, maintenance and reviews Centene social media accounts to enhance the Corporation’s interaction with the public and government.
  • Monitors all Centene social media channels in real time and escalate concerns.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of social media best practices for the enterprise that support the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Analyzes social media trends with analytics tools and reports findings to management.
  • Researches social media trends and best practices to identify opportunities to enhance social media interaction with Centene's accounts.
  • Maintains documentation for enterprise social media tools and best practices.
  • Develops content for posting on designated social media outlets, working with internal and external stakeholders to identify and develop messaging and visuals for select topics.
  • Responsible for coordinating reviews of content by SMEs, leaders, and others as needed.
  • Manages posting of content developed on Centene's social channels as well as tagging to facilitate metrics gathering on content types and topics.
  • Executes Reporting and Analytics (CNC/ELT/Competitive) in coordination with the social managers.
  • Collaborator in the execution of community management and response protocols.
  • Assesses State Health Plan Social content and assesses for engagement, amplification, and curation with the guidance of the social managers.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field. +4 years of professional social media experience, in a company or agency setting. Healthcare industry marketing experience preferred.
Extensive familiarity and understanding of Khoros or equivalent enterprise-wide social media management tools and social media platforms.

This position is 100% remote within the United States.

Pay Range: $56,200.00 - $101,000.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
