About FloWater

FloWater exists to transform the way you hydrate: we provide real-time, high-quality purified drinking water at the point of dispense, reducing plastic waste, restoring trust in tap water, and redefining how people hydrate. We’re not just selling water; we’re building a movement, and we believe social media is how that movement comes alive. If you care about innovation, sustainability, and mission-driven impact, and you believe a brand’s story can change habits, you’ll love working here.

Why This Role Matters

We’re building more than a brand. We’re building a movement. As our Social Media Manager, you’ll be owning and shaping the voice of FloWater across platforms. You’ll translate our mission, values, and vision into content that educates, inspires, and mobilizes. You’ll help drive brand awareness and connect emotionally with an audience that cares about sustainability, hydration, and better habits.

What You’ll Own

  • Develop & Lead Social Strategy
    • Build and execute a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with FloWater’s mission and business goals.
    • Maintain and manage an editorial calendar and publishing workflow across all relevant platforms.
    • Stay on top of social trends, algorithm changes, emerging platforms, and cultural moments.
  • Content Creation & Brand Storytelling
    • Create, curate, and publish compelling content narratives (photo, video, graphics, written) across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social channels, that reflects FloWater’s voice, values, and aesthetic.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and amplify campaigns across channels.
  • Community Management & Engagement
    • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to build real relationships with our audience.
    • Foster community engagement, encourage conversation, and nurture brand advocates. Treat social media as a two-way street, not a broadcast channel.
  • Data-Driven Optimization & Reporting
    • Track performance metrics, analyze results, run experiments and use insights to refine content, strategy, posting cadence, and messaging.
    • Turn numbers into insights, and insights into better content and strategy. Use data and analytics tools to inform strategic decisions and improve ROI from social efforts.
  • Influencer / Partner & Growth Program
    • Source credible talent, manage relationships, build campaigns, and measure impact.
    • Build and manage an influencer and ambassador program to amplify our mission, reach new audiences, and build credibility. (Because we believe social proof and real voices help further our movement.)
  • Cross-Department Collaboration & Brand Alignment
    • Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and operations to ensure social media supports larger brand initiatives, campaigns, and overall company goals.
    • Maintain consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging across all social touchpoints.
What We’re Looking For — Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related role (preferably with B2B brands)
  • Strong storytelling instincts: Ability to translate a brand’s mission and values into engaging social content and narrative.
  • Proficiency in content creation: graphic design (e.g., Canva), short-form video editing (in-app, mobile, capcut, or similar), photography or visual content.
  • Deep familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), social media tools (scheduling, analytics, listening), and best practices.
  • Data-driven mindset: Comfortable analyzing analytics, tracking KPIs, deriving actionable insights, and iterating strategy based on performance.
  • Community-first: Excellent communication skills, empathy, ability to engage thoughtfully with followers and foster meaningful connection.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills:  Ability to juggle multiple campaigns, deadlines, and cross-team collaborations.
  • Flexibility, creativity, and a hunger to build something meaningful from the ground up.
  • Bonus: Experience running influencer or partnership programs.

What Success Looks Like (6–12 months)

  • A vibrant social presence for FloWater with a growing, engaged community that feels connected to our mission.
  • A cohesive content strategy delivering high-quality, on-brand content across platforms.
  • A scalable influencer/ambassador program delivering meaningful reach, engagement, and brand trust.
  • Data-driven growth: clear KPIs, measurable improvements in engagement, reach, follower growth, conversions or community action.

Smooth cross-functional collaboration: social supports big-picture brand and business initiatives, bridging product, marketing, and community.
