Position Summary:

The Social Media Intern will support day-to-day content creation, scheduling, and engagement across Pansophic Learning’s school social media accounts. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment, exposure to video-first strategies, and mentorship from experienced social media and marketing professionals.

Deliverables

  • Assist in developing and posting social media content (short-form video, graphics, copy).
  • Support community management by monitoring comments, messages, and engagement.
  • Help track performance metrics and report on campaign results.
  • Research social media trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms.

Process

  • Collaborate with Social Media Strategist and other marketing team members to ensure alignment with campaign goals.
  • Use social media management tools to schedule and publish posts.
  • Capture and organize raw photo and video content for editing.
  • Participate in brainstorm sessions for creative concepts.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form video platforms.
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn in a professional marketing environment.

 Preferred

  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout, Later).
  • Basic skills in photo/video editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe).
  • Prior internship or freelance experience in social media or digital marketing.

The hourly rate for this position is $15.00 - $17.50 per hour.  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
