PublicSquare is a technology-enabled Marketplace & Payments ecosystem that serves an audience of consumers and merchants who value life, family, and liberty.  PublicSquare operates under three segments: Marketplace, Financial Technology, and Brands. The primary mission of the Marketplace segment is to help consumers “shop their values” and put purpose behind their purchases. PublicSquare’s Financial Technology segment includes Credova, a consumer financing and payments company. PublicSquare’s Brands segment consists of D2C companies, like EveryLife, a premium life-affirming baby products company.

As the Community Manager for our marketplace division, you’ll play a pivotal role in activating our community to shop for life, family, and liberty. With a foundation in customer empathy and results, you'll guide the brand’s messaging and community engagement on relevant social channels.
Your Mission
Foster Connection, Cultivate Growth: Armed with a profound understanding of our customers and the brand, you'll design social content for shoppers and merchants that embrace our brand promise. From hopeful, informative copy to rich, inspiring visuals, your posts will drive new buyers to the marketplace and activate an army of advocates to strengthen the community.
Lead with Insight, Act with Purpose: Your approach will blend deep customer insights with a steadfast commitment to the details of execution. This unique combination of wisdom and action will promote an environment where creative thinking leads to attention grabbing moments and marketplace growth.  The successful candidate will be a creative professional whose primary responsibility will require imagination, originality and talent.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage content for marketplace social channels, including Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook.
  • Actively engage our community to address their questions and gain insight into their struggles and aspirations.
  • Solicit testimonials and encourage trial of the marketplace.
  • Utilize data and customer feedback to optimize conversion by channel.
  • Work with ambassadors and influencers to drive shopping behaviors in line with marketplace goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with merchandising, sales, and experience teams to ensure a cohesive narrative and content reuse across touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • History of Success: At least 5 years of experience running high-growth consumer-oriented social accounts.
  • Master Communicator: Your strength in communication and storytelling ensures brand clarity with business results.
  • Diverse Skill Set: You’re comfortable doing research, writing, creating visuals, and tracking your progress to ensure posts hit the mark.
  • Relationship Builder: You connect authentically with customers and guide partners to drive excitement about our mission and business outcomes.
  • Audience Attentive: Your always-on approach means you’re ready to seize a customer or cultural opportunity when it strikes.
  • Tech Obsessed: You understand the inner workings of each platform and how to maximize engagement. You’ve worked with social media management tools like Sprout or Hootsuite.
