Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking social content and community manager to own strategy through execution across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook. You will set clear goals for audience growth, engagement, lead generation, and conversion; build and run a forward-planned content calendar; create platform-native assets and on-brand copy; and reactivate dormant channels with consistent, light-lift content. You will manage daily community engagement (comments/DMs) across all platforms, route Admissions inquiries appropriately, and develop influencer collaborations to expand reach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the comprehensive strategy for all social channels, aligned with business goals and brand tone.

  • Set clear goals for audience growth, engagement, lead generation, and conversion.

  • Translate big-picture initiatives into actionable, channel-specific plans.

  • Present social vision and performance regularly to senior leadership.

  • Create and schedule compelling content, including videos, reels, carousels, and static posts, using tools like Canva and Adobe.

  • Write strong, on-brand copy that connects with different segments across platforms.

  • Reactivate dormant platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook) with consistent, light-lift, high-value content.

  • Manage daily interactions on all platforms, including DMs, comments, and tags.

  • Proactively build relationships with our audience. Answer questions, escalate Admissions inquiries, and spark engaging conversations.

  • Monitor community sentiment and guide brand voice and tone in real time.

  • Respond to influencer inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to secure and activate brand aligned partnerships.

  • Manage live takeovers, content collaborations, and UGC campaigns.

  • Recruit and grow our IINsiders influencer program.

  • Define KPIs and lead all social performance reporting.

  • Use insights to test and optimize content formats, posting times, captions, and hashtags.

  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and algorithm changes to keep content fresh and relevant.

  • Develop and maintain platform-specific content calendars; ensure content is scheduled at least 10 days in advance.

  • Strategically distribute content to avoid repetitive themes or formats.

  • Maintain organized workflows and boards in the project management platform; uphold file storage and naming conventions.

  • Maintain a clear creative vision and quarterly strategy deck that aligns social channels with business goals.

  • Lead brainstorming and concepting for new content ideas; provide quality reviews and approvals before publishing when content is produced with partners or vendors.

  • Identify and manage new platform opportunities and content formats.

  • Coordinate light production timelines for short-form content, ensuring deadlines are visible and achievable.

  • Repurpose pillar content into platform-native assets and pull impactful moments from past content libraries.

  • Publish monthly performance reports with insights, experiments, and next-step recommendations.

  • Identify bottlenecks and implement small process automations to speed up production and feedback loops.

  • Meet weekly with leadership to align on strategy, results, and priorities.

Requirements
  • 3–5 years of hands-on social media marketing experience for a brand (bonus if in wellness, education, or lifestyle).

  • Proven success in growing and managing content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook.

  • Strong design and visual storytelling instincts; proficiency in Canva (Adobe suite a plus).

  • Excellent writing skills with a firm grasp of brand voice and tone.

  • Data-minded with experience building reports and translating insights into action.

  • Comfortable engaging directly with senior stakeholders and owning the social roadmap.

  • Self-starter mindset - you don’t wait for direction, you set the pace and bring ideas to life.

  • Experience in influencer marketing, UGC campaigns, or managing communities.

  • Familiarity with paid social or basic editing (Reels, Shorts, etc.)

  • Understanding of lead generation via social and integrating with CRM/sales tools.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills; proficiency with project management software.

  • Understanding of content production workflows across video, design, audio, and copy.

  • Ability to provide and incorporate constructive, creative feedback; uphold consistency and brand standards.

  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities; strong sense of urgency and ownership.

  • Familiarity with automation tools for workflow improvements is a plus.

  • Availability for occasional live activations, launches, and after-hours needs.

  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external creators/vendors.

  • Engagement: engagement rate benchmarks per platform; saves, shares, comments.
