About the Opportunity

SweetRush is developing a new META Social Media Marketing Professional Certificate, and we're seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to help ensure the curriculum reflects the real-world responsibilities and skills of today's META Social Media Marketing professionals. In this role, you will lend your expertise to a program that prepares learners to develop, execute, manage, and optimize social media marketing and advertising strategies across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Threads.

Social Media Marketing professionals strengthen brand awareness and visibility, promote products and services, engage with existing and potential customers, drive traffic and sales, and cultivate active online communities. They plan, build, and manage marketing campaigns, create platform-specific content such as posts, images, stories, reels, and carousels, and maintain consistent interaction with followers by responding to comments, mentions, and direct messages. They also monitor KPIs and performance metrics, conduct research, and analyze data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and understand social media trends, user behavior, and audience preferences—insight that informs strategic decisions for current and future initiatives. These professionals may also leverage WhatsApp to create and manage groups that foster engagement and strengthen brand loyalty, and they increasingly utilize Generative AI technologies to produce tailored content, optimize marketing strategies, forecast social media trends, understand user behavior patterns, and automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and scalability.

As our SME, you'll validate and help shape the job responsibilities, skills, and learning objectives that will guide this certificate program, ensuring learners graduate with the practical, in-demand capabilities employers are seeking in this role.
