Hypergiant is offering a unique SkillBridge opportunity for transitioning service members seeking hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources. As a Recruiting Coordinator / HR Coordinator, you’ll support our fast-paced People Operations team and gain real-world exposure to the full lifecycle of recruiting and day-to-day HR functions. This is an ideal opportunity for those looking to build or expand their career in HR within a dynamic tech environment.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the candidate experience from job posting and interview coordination to onboarding logistics. Additionally, you’ll gain valuable experience in core HR processes such as maintaining employee records and helping execute internal HR initiatives.
We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive team player who’s excited to learn, contribute meaningfully, and help shape a top-tier employee and candidate experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Post open roles to job boards and social media platforms
- Assist with interview coordination, including scheduling with candidates and interviewers
- Initiate background checks and support new hire onboarding, including orientation logistics
- Maintain accurate data and documentation in the applicant tracking system (Greenhouse)
- Help create and organize recruiting and HR documentation and process materials
- Provide administrative support to the recruiting and HR teams as needed
- Assist with general HR tasks such as maintaining employee records, supporting payroll/timekeeping processes, and coordinating internal communications
Required Qualifications:
- Active-duty service member eligible for the DOD SkillBridge program
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Rippling)
- Familiarity with HR tools such as Paycor, timekeeping software, or onboarding platforms
- Exposure to administrative, scheduling, or leadership roles during military service
- Experience using professional platforms like LinkedIn or job boards for talent engagement
- Interest in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources
Goals – Provide transitioning service members fellowship-style job skills training during the last portion(s) of their military commitment. This program is specifically designed to offer internships that result in the potential to transition to a full-time opportunity as the conclusion of the training.
Objectives - Service Members who complete the Intern program will be highly trained and capable future employees that align to the specific needs of the organization and are prepared to meet Hypergiant's mission “Know Tomorrow, Act Today” on Day 1. This program provides a comprehensive internship experience including professional development, networking with leadership, and training specifically focused on Hypergiant's leadership principles, company history, customer/stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core job responsibilities.
Outcome – Offer transitioning service member a rewarding opportunity to join the Hypergiant team.
DoD SkillBridge Eligibility:
- Has served at least 180 days on active duty
- Is within 12 months of separation or retirement
- Will receive an honorable discharge
- Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS
- Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months
- Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship.
Clearance Information: Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.
