As a SkillBridge Intern, you will support key operational and strategic initiatives within our organization, gaining hands-on experience in contract performance analysis, process improvement, and business development. This role is designed to leverage your military expertise while developing transferable skills in corporate operations, data-driven decision-making, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Performance Analysis & Reporting Optimization
- Review current contract performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend enhancements to data visualization, dashboards, and KPIs for better decision-making.
- Identify gaps in reporting and propose automation or efficiency solutions.
- Assist in documenting and tracking progress on priority initiatives (e.g., ISO certification readiness, BD pipeline development, or post-award kickoff structure).
- Contribute to research, planning, and execution of strategic projects.
- Help formalize and refine operational workflows across delivery functions.
- Draft or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for onboarding, reporting, and client engagement.
- Analyze historical subcontractor performance to support teaming strategy.
- Assist HR/BD in conducting a surge capability analysis (skills, clearances, personnel availability).
- Develop a "lessons learned playbook" from past contracts.
- Create templates for effective knowledge transfer during contract start-up and closeout.
- Military experience with transferable skills in logistics, project management, or operations.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in data-driven reporting and process improvement.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to document workflows.
- Familiarity with contract management, business development, or DoD processes is a plus.
