NELOGIS provides a full range of logistics services to U.S. Government departments and agencies, including the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of State (DoS). In addition, we serve the United Nations and its associated agencies and NATO. NELOGIS provides process-oriented, cost-effective solutions for training, procurement, warehousing, transportation management, staff augmentation and support, and bulk and retail fuel operations and distribution in domestic and austere locations. 

Job Description

NELOGIS is seeking a Site Manager to support DLA Distribution operations in the State of California and has identified a need for distribution and warehousing services. DLA Distribution primary mission is to manage and execute efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory, packaging, Care of Supplies in Storage, stock control, stock selection, issue processing, packing, shipping, and distribution of repair parts and secondary items in support of on-base, local, and worldwide customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Site Manager shall provide overall supervision for the Contractor employees to include, but not limited to, planning and managing the contract professionally;
  • Coaching and mentoring supervisors and leads ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources;
  • Ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided; effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services ordered;
  • Execute cost saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled and at a fair and reasonable cost. 
  • The Site Manager shall provide overall management coordination and serve as the central point of contact (POC) with the Government for all work under the contract.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.   
  • The Site Manager shall possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.   

Qualifications

  • Must have as a minimum, possess at least five (5) years of experience in Distribution Management-OR have at least ten (10) years of management experience in distribution operations similar to the size and complexity to the operations offered in this contract. 
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past five (5) years. 
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and is required  to maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • + If candidate already has a Secret Clearance

Additional Information

Position is Full Time Positions (40 hrs per week).

Work Location is TBD, but within the State of California
