The Site Controller will work within the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Accounting team and perform the following for the region:
•Implement and execute end-to-end SOX inventory controls
•Manage end-to-end budget and accounting for capital expenditures
•Prepare and approve journal entries and account reconciliations to support meeting 5-day close requirement for the month close
•Monitor cost of product, e.g., actuals analysis, planning estimates, by materials category, by project/order, etc.
•Analyze and forecast overhead costs and rates
•Inventory analysis and reporting
•Reconcile periodic physical inventories
This role reports to the Financial Controller, Supply Chain and Production.
What does the ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
- Minimum 7 years of PLANT CONTROLLING and cost accounting experience in industrial manufacturing. Background in contract manufacturing is strongly preferred. Energy or energy storage business knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience working with publicly traded companies is required.
- Capability to independently manage the financial controls of site facilities, operating in a high growth environment. Experience with new production introduction is required.
- Recent SOX compliance in a publicly traded company is required.
- Proven cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s, and preferably Master’s, degree(s) with a major in accounting, finance is required. CPA strongly preferred.
- Approximately 25% travel to site facilities required
