SpecterOps is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support our world-class Services team and clients. A successful candidate will have excellent business acumen and be passionate about working in a fast-growing company, helping to build great delivery capabilities. In addition, they will be well-organized, self-directed individual with familiarity working for a service-based organization. Experience working in the cyber security industry a plus but not required. 

We're looking for candidates who share our passion and want to help us build world-class delivery and development teams. This position will include management of customer security engagements and internal company efforts. 

Salary Range: base salary annually, commensurate with experience.  

  • Mid-level:  $115,000 - $140,000 

Location: This position is remote, based in the U.S. with optional travel quarterly for in person company events and other ad hoc meetings. 

  • Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; we do not currently sponsor immigration visas.  

Responsibilities 

  • Manage Services projects, resource management, and customer relationships
  • Maintain project information in various project management tools (Kantata, Jira, GitHub, Confluence, etc.)  
  • Assist account managers in customer relationship management and advocacy
  • Schedule and lead meetings such as internal kick-off, client-facing kick-off, retrospectives, client satisfaction, and resource allocation
  • Manage project execution ensuring key milestones deadlines are met and deliverables are captured throughout project and development lifecycle
  • Report on company and Services performance metrics
  • Setup and tear down internal infrastructure used for service delivery according to documented procedure
  • Generate planning phase documents and coordinate completion with project lead
  • Coordinate project documents that require customer feedback or approval through to finalization
  • Purge customer data from information systems according to data retention policies
  • Communicate employee and customer feedback, concerns, and successes to leadership
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve obstacles at the lowest-level possible
  • Manage ad-hoc customer requests related to Services project delivery 

Requirements:  

  • 3-5+ years of Project Management experience in a consulting environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts (predictive, agile, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated skills in multitasking, time management & organization to effectively engage and contribute to multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing and analyzing metrics and financials in a consulting or technical environment
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to follow offensive and defensive security assessment practices 
  • Ability to successfully complete a criminal background investigation

Nice to have  

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, communications, or technical field
  • Demonstrated experience in account management
  • Experience in technical writing
  • Experience supporting security projects (i.e. penetration testing, red team operations, compromise assessments)
  • Experience in managing software development and engineering projects across the full lifecycle including architecture, development, testing, deployment and maintenance
  • Experience with facilitating planning sessions, backlog refinement and retrospectives
  • Previous management experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Experience with customer management, project management and financial management systems
  • Ability to travel 25%
