ServiceNow Agentic AI Business Process Consultant (IRM, TPRM & BCM)  Remote -U.S.

Templar Shield is growing its next-generation Agentic AI and intelligent risk-automation practice. We’re looking for a Business Process Consultant who understands how organizations actually run - and how AI can reshape risk, compliance, and resilience operations on the ServiceNow platform.

This role is perfect for someone who can translate business problems into AI-enabled workflows, define use cases, design process blueprints, and guide clients through the adoption of Now Assist, AI Control Tower, and multi-agent architectures for IRM, TPRM, and BCM.

About Templar Shield

Templar Shield is a boutique, high-performance consulting firm and ServiceNow Elite Partner. We specialize in Integrated Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Third-Party Risk, Operational Resilience, and AI Governance for highly regulated industries including critical infrastructure, financial services, healthcare, energy, and public sector.

We are pioneering agentic AI capabilities on the ServiceNow platform - bringing autonomous evidence collection, AI-driven assessments, continuous monitoring, and intelligent workflow automation to our clients.

Role Overview

The ServiceNow Agentic AI Business Process Consultant (BPC) works directly with business stakeholders to design AI-ready processes for IRM, TPRM, and BCM. You’ll define requirements, map workflows, identify high-value AI use cases, translate risk/compliance operations into intelligent flows, and collaborate with developers and architects to bring those designs to life.

You are the translator between business intent and agentic AI capability - ensuring the solutions we build are usable, compliant, scalable, and aligned with real-world risk practices.

Primary Responsibilities

Business & Process Leadership

  • Conduct requirements workshops with risk, compliance, vendor-management, and business-resiliency teams.
  • Map as-is processes and design to-be intelligent processes that leverage Now Assist and agentic automation.
  • Identify high-ROI AI use cases for IRM, TPRM, and BCM (e.g., autonomous assessments, AI-generated BIAs, risk summaries, policy mappings, due-diligence automation).
  • Align workflows to industry frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NERC CIP, PCI, HIPAA, and emerging AI regulations.

Agentic AI Design

  • Define prompts, agent roles, retrieval workflows, evaluation patterns, and guardrails for Now Assist features.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design multi-agent flows - retrieval, orchestration, evaluator, and task agents.
  • Help design AI-enabled experiences for assessments, issues, risks, policies, BCM plans, and TPRM questionnaires.
  • Review AI outputs and help calibrate evaluation logic for quality, accuracy, and audit-readiness.

ServiceNow IRM/TPRM/BCM Expertise

  • Design workflows, scoring models, risk frameworks, control libraries, regulatory mappings, impact analyses, and evidence-collection patterns.
  • Lead process configuration sessions and guide customers through best practices for risk, vendor management, and continuity operations.
  • Provide thought leadership around risk automation, continuous monitoring, and intelligent workflow adoption.

Client Advisory & Delivery

  • Serve as the primary business-facing consultant on agentic AI projects.
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and test scripts.
  • Conduct demos, training, and change-management activities for client teams.
  • Ensure deliverables align with AI governance requirements and responsible-AI principles.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3–7 years in risk management, TPRM, compliance, operational resilience, or enterprise governance roles.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow IRM, TPRM, or BCM in either configuration, implementation, or business ownership.
  • Strong understanding of business processes for assessments, risks, controls, issues, policy governance, third-party due diligence, impact analyses, plans, and crisis/continuity workflows.
  • Ability to write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and communicating complex processes to business and technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI, Now Assist, LLM use cases, or process automation.
  • Strong documentation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to travel up to 50%

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Now Assist, AI Control Tower, GenAI workflows, or LLM-driven automation.
  • Understanding of NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act, or principles.
  • ServiceNow certifications (CIS-IRM, CIS-TPRM, CIS-BCM, CSA).
  • Prior consulting or advisory experience.
  • Experience designing RACI models, process maps, playbooks, and gap analyses.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks: FFIEC, OCC, CFPB, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
