Ideal Candidate

  • Senior or Staff-level Software Engineer who is passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and performant software and has experience building financial or accounting systems.

  • Has an enthusiasm to help define what AI can do to automate the back office for millions of online business owners.

You will

  • Work closely with our Design, Product, AI and Engineering teams to develop and implement complex financial features and systems.

  • Develop both frontend and backend functionality

  • Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems.

We're looking for someone who

  • Has 3-10+ years of software engineering experience

  • Has past experience leading the development of complex financial or accounting features

  • Worked on products with great UI & UX and have an opinion on the difference between great & mediocre design

  • Has a strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns

  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills and enjoys solving user problems

Bonus if you

  • Have experience of building their own startup or working as a founding engineer

  • Has experience with modern infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, GCP, Terraform, etc)

Tech

  • TypeScript, React, NestJS (If you're familiar with different stack don't hesitate to apply)

  • Postgres, Redis

  • AWS, Terraform

  • TypeORM, React Query

  • Github, Slack, Linear, Figma
