This role focuses heavily on Workday configuration and technical problem-solving, ensuring that HR systems are optimized for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. The analyst will collaborate closely with HR functional teams, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into forward thinking system configurations that enhance the employee experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead configuration for semi-annual Workday releases — assess new features, conduct impact analyses, and recommend adoption strategies.

  • Ensure configuration documentation is accurate, up to date, and aligned with governance standards.

  • Develop and execute unit, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans for new configurations and release.

  • Configure and maintain Workday security roles, domains, and policies to ensure proper segregation of duties and data confidentiality.

  • Conduct regular security audits and collaborate with IT and compliance teams to align with organizational and regulatory standards.

  • Partner with HR leadership to deliver actionable insights through metrics and analytics.

  • Provide training and guidance to HR and business users.

What You’ll Need:

  • 4+ years of Workday experience

  • 2+ years experience configuring multiple Workday modules such as Benefits, Compensation, Talent, or Absence.

  • Experience managing configuration documentation, test scripts, and release management processes.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple configuration projects simultaneously.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

  • Customer-service mindset with strong attention to detail and process efficiency.

  • Experience building or maintaining Workday integrations (EIB, CCB) a plus.

  • Workday Pro Certification(s) or completed Workday courses preferred.
