As a Senior Workday Consultant within our Managed Solutions practice, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting post–go-live optimization and enhancement initiatives. You will work closely with client stakeholders to understand evolving needs, configure solutions, and recommend leading practices across the Talent lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support client workshops to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for optimization and enhancement initiatives
- Advise clients on Workday leading practices, with a focus on various modules including, but not limited to, Talent, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Security, and Reporting
- Design and configure Workday solutions that align business needs with system capabilities
- Support ongoing optimization efforts, including configuration changes, enhancements, testing, and issue resolution
- Partner with clients to improve business processes and drive adoption of Workday capabilities
- Build strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders and internal Skillcentrix team members
- Mentor and support less experienced consultants, contributing to team development
- Participate in internal initiatives that help evolve Skillcentrix’s Managed Solutions offerings and delivery approach
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience, including post–go-live support or optimization work
- Active Workday certifications strongly preferred: HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Security, Reporting
- Demonstrated experience configuring Workday to support evolving business needs
- Strong understanding of Talent and HR processes, with the ability to translate requirements into system solutions
- Experience advising clients and working in a consultative, client-facing environment
- Ability to mentor or support junior consultants
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to 20% (travel is infrequent but may be required periodically)
